Overview

mozo is table-side ordering for restaurants and bars. A guest scans a QR code at their table, browses the menu on their own phone, and orders directly. The order goes straight to staff, no app download and no waiting to flag someone down.

The problem it solves

A busy restaurant floor runs on interruptions: guests waiting to order, waiting to ask a question about a dish, waiting for the check. Every one of those moments needs a staff member to walk over, and on a full floor that walk takes time you don’t have.

mozo removes the waiting from the parts that don’t need a person: browsing the menu, placing an order, asking for the check. It keeps the parts that do need a person exactly where they belong, at the table, with an actual human bringing the food and handling anything that needs judgment.

Who it’s for

Guests get a menu they can browse at their own pace, on their own phone, in their own language, with no account required just to look — signing up to actually order takes under a minute.

Restaurant owners and staff get orders that arrive already itemized and correctly priced, with no risk of a server mishearing an order across a loud room. Staff spend their attention on service, not on relaying orders back and forth.

What it isn’t

mozo doesn’t run your kitchen, manage your inventory, or replace your point-of-sale system. See Not a POS for the specific line it draws.
