Asking for the check

When you’re ready to wrap up, tap Ask for the check in the menu.

What this does

It notifies your waiter that your table is ready to settle, the same way requesting a waiter does, but specifically flagged as a payment request on the dashboard. Your waiter brings the check over to close things out in person.

If you change your mind, or you’re not actually ready yet, you can cancel the request from the same screen.

How payment works today

Pay your waiter directly, using whatever your restaurant already accepts: cash, card, or their usual payment terminal. mozo doesn’t process payment on your behalf yet, asking for the check is purely a way to get your waiter’s attention without flagging them down across the room.

If you’re sharing a tab

Anyone on a shared tab can ask for the check for the whole table. Splitting the bill between guests is handled by your waiter the way it normally would be, mozo shows staff each person’s order history to make that easier, but the split itself happens at the table.
