Printing QR Codes

Printing from Your Browser

The QR codes page is designed for direct printing:

  1. Go to Tables → QR Codes in the supplier dashboard
  2. Select the tables you want to print
  3. Press Ctrl+P (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+P (Mac)
  4. In the print dialog:
    • Set margins to Minimum or None
    • Enable Background graphics (important for QR contrast)
    • Choose Landscape for more codes per page

Paper Recommendations

Laminated paperPlace under glass/plasticMonths
Card stockTemporary / event useDays
Waterproof labelsOutdoor seatingMonths

For daily restaurant use, adhesive vinyl labels or laminated cards are the best balance of cost and durability.

Sizing

QR codes render as SVG — they scale without losing quality. The print layout automatically sizes them for readability. Minimum recommended size: 3 × 3 cm (about 1.2 inches).

If your phone struggles to scan, the QR code might be too small or the lighting too dim. Try a larger print size or better lighting.

Troubleshooting Scanning Issues

QR code won’t scan

Scans but says “not a Mozo QR code”

Guest can’t see the menu

Bulk Printing

For restaurants with many tables (50+), print in batches:

  1. Use the table number filter to select a range
  2. Print that batch
  3. Repeat for the next range

This prevents browser memory issues with very large pages.

Custom QR Codes

Restaurant owners can customize the text displayed on QR codes. Contact your Mozo representative or see the supplier dashboard settings for customization options (coming soon).
