Getting started
Setting up a restaurant on mozo takes minutes, there’s no floor-plan survey or hardware install required to get your first table live.
Creating your account
- Go to mozo.bar/get-started.
- Choose I want to start from scratch.
- Fill in your restaurant’s details, name, address, currency.
- Create your first employee account. This account is a manager, see Employees for what that means.
- Verify your email.
You’ll land in the dashboard once that’s done. Everything from here on happens there.
The three things you need before you’re live
- A menu. At least one category with at least one product in it. See Menu.
- At least one table. See Sections & tables.
- A printed QR code on that table. See Printing QR codes.
Nothing else is required to start taking orders. Everything else, schedules, settings, additional staff, can be filled in as you go.
Going live
Once your menu is set up and a QR code is on at least one table, you’re live. See Going live for the fuller checklist and what to do in your first few days.
The shape of what’s ahead
The rest of this section follows the order a new restaurant usually sets things up in: Dashboard (what you’ll be looking at day to day), then Menu (the biggest piece), then floor layout, staff, and settings.
