Destinations

Destinations let you route orders to specific stations, so a cocktail order shows up at the bar and a dish shows up in the kitchen, without someone having to sort that out by hand.

Setting up your destinations

Destinations are defined per restaurant, in Settings, as a simple list of stations with a name you choose, Kitchen, Bar, Sushi Bar, whatever matches how your restaurant is actually laid out. Until you’ve added at least one, the destination option won’t appear when editing products, there’s nothing to assign yet.

Assigning a product to a destination

Once you’ve defined your stations, each product’s edit screen shows a checklist of them. Assign a product to one or more destinations that should see its orders. A product can be routed to more than one station if that makes sense, a shared appetizer split between two stations, for instance.

What guests see

Nothing changes for the guest. Destinations are purely about how an order surfaces on your side once it’s placed.

What staff see

Wherever your restaurant displays incoming orders, the dashboard, a kitchen or bar-side screen, orders can be filtered or routed by destination so each station only sees what’s relevant to it.

If you don’t need this

Destinations are entirely optional. A smaller restaurant with one station for everything can skip this altogether, every order simply shows up on the one dashboard everyone’s already watching.
