Settings

Settings is manager-only and organized into a few tabs.

General

Your restaurant’s name, address, contact email, and an announcement message guests can see. Also where you set your restaurant’s time zone, used across the Schedule calendar, menu category availability windows, and anywhere else times are shown — see Categories for why getting this one right matters.

Products

Product destinations, the named stations (kitchen, bar, and so on) used to route orders. Add and rename as many as your restaurant needs. See Destinations.

Payments

Suggested tip amounts guests are offered when settling up, add, remove, or reorder them here. In-app payment processing itself isn’t available yet, this only controls the suggested amounts shown; see Asking for the check for how payment works today.

QR

Choose the visual style used when your table QR codes are printed, with a live preview of each option. See Printing QR codes for the printing process itself. The “Badge” style’s header text (“Scan to order”) automatically matches your dashboard’s language, set on the Language tab — no separate translation step needed.

Language

Sets the language for your dashboard. This doesn’t affect what language guests see, guests choose their own on the ordering side.

If you’re an employee at more than one restaurant, the same screen has a switch restaurant section — pick another one you belong to and your dashboard moves over, no need to sign out and back in.

Tax

Named tax rates (Standard, Reduced, and so on) you can assign to individual products for reporting. Menu prices are always tax-inclusive — what a guest pays is never affected by adding or changing a rate here.

The percentage backs a price apart into its net and tax components rather than adding tax on top. A 19% rate means a menu price of 1.19 is treated as 1.00 net + 0.19 tax, not 1.19 with 19% tacked on. Editing a rate’s percentage later never changes what past orders report — each order snapshots the tax amount at the moment it’s placed.

Settings without a self-service screen yet

A few things, guest wifi details and enabling order messages among them, exist as restaurant-level settings but aren’t yet exposed in this screen. If you need one of these configured, reach out and it can be set on your restaurant’s behalf.
